Kentucky Public Retirees is a non-profit organization of retired Kentucky government employees whose mission is to actively support the protection of our retirement benefits.
Kentucky Public Retirees is organized to:
- Protect and preserve our retirement benefits
- Represent and promote the interests of retirees before the General Assembly, Kentucky Public Pension Authority, and other agencies
- Provide advice and consultation to public officials in matters such as health insurance and retiree needs
- Promote harmony among members of all the retirement systems and provide an outlet for fellowship and community service for retirees
- Work with other organizations on the local, state, and national levels
- Provide an achievement and humanitarian awards program
- Provide a lobbyist to appear on our behalf before the General Assembly
